On October 9, 2014, Dr. Howard W. Jones, Jr. attended the dedication ceremony of the Howard W. Jones, Jr., M.D. and Georgeanna Seegar Jones, M.D. Professorship in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. This endowed professorship was made possible through the generosity of Betty and Lonnie S. Burnett, M.D. in honor of their life-long friendship with the Joneses. Ronald J. Daniels, J.D., LL.M., President of Johns Hopkins University, and Paul B. Rothman, M.D., Dean and Chief Executive Officer of Johns Hopkins Medicine, officiated at the ceremony which was held in the West Reading Room of the William H. Welch Medical Library on the East Baltimore campus in Maryland.
